Organic and printed electronics is constantly opening up new areas of application through continuous further development of the technology and has developed into a large global market in recent years through its establishment in important industrial sectors. In addition to consumer electronics, important areas of application include the automotive industry, healthcare, smart packaging, buildings and the Internet of Things (IoT): Printed Electronics are used worldwide in numerous products and industries. Its key features - light, flexible, thin and low production costs - enable the latest customer-specific products without design limitations.
At electronica virtual, the Printed Electronics Forum by LOPEC & OE-A is aimed at a broad audience - from newcomers to printed electronics to material and product developers, equipment manufacturers, end users and industry decision makers. As part of the forum, the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association), a working group within the VDMA, will organize a free web seminar.
Under the titel ‘Future Trends of Mobility’ experts present applications of organic, flexible and print-ed electronics in the automotive industry, focusing on embedded touch sensors for human-machine interfaces, integration of curved displays into large surfaces as well as battery man-agement solutions for electric vehicles.
